Our Stepping program uses the 8-count number system to build rhythm, timing, and confidence from the ground up.
Beginner: Learn the Basics — women start on the left foot, men on the right — focusing on timing and foundation.
Intermediate: Women practice timing and lane control, while men add turns and leading skills.
Advanced: Partner work takes center stage, with emphasis on creativity, combinations, spins, and personal style.
Along with technique, students learn floor etiquette: respecting space, maintaining lane control, and moving with confidence. Advancement is based on skill and practice, not speed, ensuring every dancer grows at their own pace.
Stepping is fueled by music — from R&B and smooth jazz to classics and even modern hip-hop — making every session fresh and inspiring.
Most importantly, Stepping is about fun, connection, and community. With dedication and an open mind, you’ll discover not only the steps but the joy of The True Art of Steppin’.
